Micronesia is an island region in the Pacific with a rich diversity of cultures and languages. Divided into several different small islands, Micronesia features breath-taking beauty both above and below the water, a testimony of God's creative power. Some even dare to call it the “paradise of the South Seas.” Living in the midst of this island paradise, however, are people who desperately need to know the Creator of the beauty around them. Many call themselves Christians without knowing Christ personally. Others lack dedication in their discipleship. Churches need encouragement and support, especially in the areas of children’s and youth ministry. Other religious groups view for attention. We urgently need young people, from all around the world, who are ready to live, learn and serve together in an international team. We want to proclaim and live Christ's love in the Republic of Palau and the islands of Yap, Micronesia.

Where?

What?

Children’s and youth ministry, church ministry, evangelistic outreaches, prison ministry, maintenance

When?

Early June – late August 2012 (3 months)

Who?

Between five and ten young adults with good command of English from all around the world (team language is English)

Costs? *

€ 250,- per month for housing and transportation, plus travel, visa, immunisation, courses and insurance

You can take part if you are between 18 and 30 years old, have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and are willing to live with others, learn from them, and serve them.
